A l’affiche, des classiques du cin\u00e9ma de genre tels l’original de Texas Chainsaw<\/strong> Massacre<\/strong> ou encore le Terror Train<\/strong> de Roger Spottiswoode<\/strong> (et son twist diabolique). Mais la vraie surprise venait de la pr\u00e9sence d’une copie 3D digitale du troisi\u00e8me volet de Jaws<\/strong>: \u00ab\u00a0Yes, we are showing a new DCP 3D print from Universal and I think we are the first exhibitor to show it.\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0<\/em> nous explique David Huffman<\/strong>, directeur du marketing. \u00ab\u00a0I know that we were the first to book it since I have been bugging the studio about it for months.<\/em>\u00ab\u00a0. \"\"<\/a>Selon les premiers \u00e9chos, la projection de Jaws 3D<\/strong> a \u00e9t\u00e9 un authentique succ\u00e8s et a permis \u00e0 de nombreux spectateurs de d\u00e9couvrir le film pour la premi\u00e8re fois en 3D. On ne compte plus les critiques positives qui fleurissent \u00e0 gauche et \u00e0 droite sur la toile: \u00ab\u00a0The print was cleaned up very well, with only a few scratches here and there and the 3D \u00ab\u00a0pop out\u00a0\u00bb effects were some of the best I’ve ever seen on the big screen. There were a few scenes that were a bit fuzzy and some objects had a \u00ab\u00a0halo\u00a0\u00bb around them, although I assume that was just due to the age of the film and technology available at the time of release. I had never seen the film before so this was a real treat!\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>. The new DCP looks AMAZING and it was a real treat to see it on the big screen in 3D. We\u2019ve had so many requests to bring it back that we just booked it for a 5 day run at the Capitol Theatre for November 16th<\/sup> \u2013 20th<\/sup>. It will play once a day during the 9:00 hour.
